Saunas
Sauna buying guides
A home sauna can cost from a couple of thousand dollars for a small infrared cabin to well into five figures for a custom outdoor build. The right choice depends on heat type (traditional or infrared), whether it goes indoors or outdoors, how many people will use it, and the electrical work it needs.
Guides coming soon. We haven't published any saunas guides yet. We'd rather show you an empty shelf than filler. When we do, they'll follow the same editorial policy as our generator guides: specs from manufacturers, sources linked, no fake testing claims.
What we plan to cover
- Traditional vs infrared: how they differ, on paper and in practice
- Indoor vs outdoor (barrel, cabin and cube designs) and what each needs underneath it
- Heater sizing and the dedicated circuit many heaters require
- Delivery, assembly and the real total cost
Safety note: Many sauna heaters need a dedicated 240V circuit. Plan on a licensed electrician, and check the manufacturer's install manual and local permit rules before you buy.
